Yesterday was 8 November 2008 and it was very meaningful to some of the guests because it is a celebration of 20th anniversary for HD Training House that held in Thean Hou Gong.
My company was invited to attend the dinner and I am one of the representatives there.
We reached there around 6.35pm by car pool. A lot of people already there to watch the exhibition. The exhibition was set up beside the front door. The exhibition was actually all about the photos taken and activities that held before by HD Training House. All the team members of HD Training House were there to welcome all the coming guests.
About 7pm, guests started walking inside the hall and took their seats. We took our seats as well and the celebration started by welcome dance. At the same time, the huge TV screen showed all the photos taken previously and the milestone of HD Training House.
The emcee walked out from the back of the stage by dancing and introduced to all of us the purpose of having this celebration and presented to us the difference of this training house.
What is this all about? Why am I here? In fact, I heard it before from my colleagues. This HD Training House established in the year of 1988. The head office is located at Penang and the branch is located at Taman Desa, K.L. It is a non-profit organization with the purpose of embraces a whole new concept of learning to empower us in our personal growth. The objectives are about caring others and increase the harmonies of society. Their activities and services are the motivational camp for adults, children, and teens; management training, consulting service and some of the useful courses.
Around 8pm, the food was served and the master of HD Training House continued the event with the speech. The master himself is a 68 years old man and he is looking very energetic. There were some of the guests came from Taiwan and Hong Kong too! Those are leaders who continuing to provide any kind of support for the HD Trading House and not forget their members too!
I remembered one of the leader from Taiwan whose name Professor Chen Yee An.
He mentioned about ‘Home Dynamics’, how’s a home functioning well include their norms, roles and relations. There is a proverb says: “ Loves makes a house a home.”
It is very true, if there is no love, the world will full of pains, sorrows and wars.
The event was still going on with the performance from their members.
At the end of event, the lighting activity took place. They allocated the candles to all the guests to light it on. They also gave us a love shape cardboard paper to put it in the middle of table and candles pasted on it for us to light it on. It means there is always warmness in every corner of our society and wishing all of us with health and peace.
It is an unforgettable experience for me!
